The Supported Living Team Help Stephen Adopt A Cat

This year staff at Oakfield Court supported Stephen to adopt a cat from the Cats Protection charity as he decided he would like a furry housemate!

Stephen’s decision coincided with lockdown and the fact he now considers himself to be retired. He now lives with a lovely tortoiseshell cat called Millie.

Stephen says "I like having Millie around, sometimes she lays on my tummy at night or she lays on the end of the bed and jumps off and plays around. She is settling in alright and she’s getting used to the cat flap and litter tray."
