Supported Employment crowned with Team Award!

Our Supported Employment Service (SES) Team were one of four teams nominated (internally) by others for our annual Team STAR Award. At the end of May, they were crowned the winners!

The Award recognises exceptional team work in at least one of the following four areas:

- Best financial performance
- Highest level of customer satisfaction including customer compliments
- Best attendance level
- Most quality compliant

Awards are presented annually as an appreciation for a significant contribution to the company. Our Business Area Managers review nominations and recommend a winner to our Senior Management Team.

Winners of the Team STAR Award received vouchers towards an evening meal, personally presented by our Managing Director. They also received Team STAR certificates and a letter of thanks from our Managing Director.

Katrina Reeves, SES Manager, said: "I am absolutely thrilled that SES was awarded the STAR award for team of the year. I feel that every one of our staff has played a part in our success in continuing to deliver a quality service under a huge amount of pressure. We have achieved Support with Confidence accreditation for the second year running - and we're the first team to do so at Optalis.

"I am confident that we are on track to smash employment targets in Wokingham Borough again too for 2013/14."
