Optalis Festive Operating Hours 2022

During the festive period services and teams at Optalis will offer various levels of support across our services.
Below are the details about how each service will operate during the festive period.


Community Lives Wokingham
Westmead, Wokingham Day Centre, Woodley and Earley centres will be closed from Saturday 24 December 2022 to Tuesday 3rd January 2023

Out and About
Out and About will continue to provide support during the festive period, however the service is closed on: 
Christmas Day, Sunday 25 December 2022
Boxing Day, Monday 26 December 2022

The Dementia Care Advisors service will be closed on:
Christmas Day, Sunday 25 December 2022
Boxing Day, Monday 26 December 2022
Bank Holiday, Tuesday 27 December 2022
Friday 30 December 2022
Bank Holiday, Monday 2 January 2023
The service will be operating from the 28 to 29 December.

Community lives Boyn Grove Dementia Day Service will be closed on:
Christmas Day, Sunday 25 December 2022
Boxing Day, Monday 26 December 2022
Bank Holiday, Tuesday 27 December 2022
Bank Holiday, Monday 2 January 2023
The service will offer limited support between Christmas and New Year, the team will contact individuals directly about operating hours.

Community Lives Services Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead
Boyn Grove will be closed on:
Christmas Day, Sunday 25 December 2022
Boxing Day, Monday 26 December 2022
Bank Holiday, Tuesday 27 December 2022
Bank Holiday, Monday 2 January 2023
The service will offer limited support to those who live with family Carers between Christmas and New Year, the team will contact individuals directly about operating hours.

Oakbridge Day Service will be closed from:
Saturday 24 December to Tuesday 3rd January
The service will offer limited support to those who live with family Carers between Christmas and New Year from Boyne Grove Centre, the team will contact individuals directly about operating hours.

Supported Employment Service
This service will be closed on:
Boxing Day, Monday 26 December 2022
Bank Holiday, Tuesday 27 December 2022
Friday 30 December 2022
Bank Holiday, Monday 2 January 2023
A reduced team will be working normal hours on the 28 to 29 December.

Short Breaks Loddon Court
This service is closed from 24 December to 27 December, however the team will be available to respond to any emergency stays during this period. The service will continue to provide outreach support as required and agreed with individuals and their support networks.

Short Breaks Allenby Road The service remains open throughout December, with the exception of:
Christmas Day, Sunday 25 December 2022
Boxing Day, Monday 26 December 2022

Extra Care, Residential Care, Short Term Rehabilitation Support, Independent Living and Supported Living
These services will continue to operate as usual, there are no closures during the festive period.

Community Social Work Team, Community Team for People with Learning Disabilities and Community Mental Health Team
Our social work teams will not be operating on: 
Christmas Day, Sunday 25 December 2022
Boxing Day, Monday 26 December 2022
Bank Holiday, Tuesday 27 December 2022
Friday 30 December 2022
Bank Holiday, Monday 2 January 2023
During this time, please contact the Emergency Duty Service on 01344 351 999 if you urgently need to speak to a social worker.
The teams will be working, from the 28 to 29 December.

Corporate Support Teams
HR and Development, Commissioning, Governance and QA, Quality and Brokerage, Engagement and Communications, and Finance will not be available on Bank Holidays and Friday 30 December 2022, but will provide cover throughout the Festive and New Year period at all other times. Emergency support will be available from our on-call team if needed.
