Adam Bell, Senior Reablement Assistant for the Short-Term Assessment and Reablement Team (or START), provides an insight into what makes a positive workplace culture at Optalis.

Adam shared his experience of working alongside a skilled and knowledgeable manager, who is invested in the development of his team. 

Adam said, “Sameer is a great leader. I know I can use him as a sounding board, if needed. He will always stop and give you his attention, no matter how busy he is. This has had a real impact on me, and something I am conscious of now that I am a supervisor. I will make time to listen to people.”

Adam continued “We have a supportive team and I appreciate the guidance I receive from my colleagues.”

“There is a sense that Optalis is driven by its values. You can see the values are in place in the delivery of services across the organisation.”
