Community Lives Contribute to Learning Disability Week Exhibition

In an exhibit arranged by The Advocacy Group and supported by RBWM Library services, several local groups have come together to share their experiences of living life with a Learning Disability in a special exhibit.

The main display is being showcased at the Maidenhead Library during Learning Disability Week (19th – 25th June) with information showing the involvement the Community Lives ‘Speaking Out’ Advocacy group has in making a difference for people with a Learning Disability in their community.

It also includes artwork from the Community Lives ArtAble groups including representation from Mfalme the Coronation Lion.

The Learning Disability Week exhibition at Maidenhead Library provides a platform for individuals with learning disabilities to share their stories, challenges, and achievements.
