Brill House gets into the festive spirit

People supported at Brill House in Maidenhead were treated to some very special visitors on 20th December. Basil & Crew’s farm brought along their animals, including a donkey, Shetland pony, rabbits, sheep and goats. To create some festive cheer the team at Basil’s have converted their trailer into a mobile Santa’s Grotto. The grotto was bedecked with twinkling lights, Christmas tree and fireplace backdrop. Guests enjoyed petting, feeding and grooming the animals, before paying a visit to Father Christmas. Then everyone, including the animals, got involved in a nativity performance narrated by Alex, one of the Brill House tenants. After warming hot chocolate, with cream and marshmallows the staff and customers returned to Brill House. The fun did not stop there though, as they all looked forward to watching a community choral performance which was due to take place that evening on the green adjacent.
