How do we work?

We focus on choice, flexibility and spontaneity; each day a variety of activities are on offer for people to choose from. We understand that people's needs and wishes may change from day to day and we will change with each person. We encourage everyone to follow their interests and learn skills at their own pace.

We offer lots of ways for people to develop their well-being and hobbies and to make friends. We have a strong focus on sensory and therapeutic activities.

These include:

  • Art and crafts including pottery
  • Sensory experience
  • Rebound therapy
  • Communication skills and signing
  • Advocacy
  • Sports, exercise and swimming
  • Horticulture

"You have given (our daughter) opportunities to visit new places and try new activities. It has been a great that you have worked out her likes and dislikes and sorted a timetable suitable for her needs."
