Activities for people with learning disabilities
We offer something different to the traditional day service you might expect. We believe that customers don’t have to stay in one place all the time!
Customers can pick from activities at three centres in Wokingham, Woodley and Earley, and other local sports and leisure venues, including libraries. These take place at different times and on different days, and may be things done on their own or in groups with other people.
We also offer an Out and About service where customers can go on a variety of different trips in and around the local area.
Our staff can provide any help and support needed so that customers can get the most out of what they choose to do, and we have transport to take people from one activity to another. We can provide 1:1 support if it's needed too.

The Acorn Community Centre is specially designed for people who need a lot of support. There’s a fully accessible bathroom complete with hoist and a sensory room fitted with visual, sound, scent and touch devices which enable a soothing and calming environment.
Our day service also gives our customers the chance to have their say in the local community by coming to regular meetings with the local Learning Disability Partnership Board and other people like the police and community wardens.
