Covid 19 - Latest Update - January 2021

We are so proud of our staff teams and the amazing work they do, each and every day to support people to maintain their independence, enjoy life and fulfil their potential. At this time they are working tirelessly to ensure our customers’ health and wellbeing is paramount, whilst dealing with the concerns and challenges that every member of our society is facing right now.

Many of our services continue to support people in their own homes and our residential and day support services, as we have throughout the pandemic. Currently, all of our services remain in operation and are being reviewed on a daily basis in response to Government advice. The Government’s advice encourages those who need health and social care services to continue to receive support, with suitable safety measures in place to reduce the risk of spreading the virus. As part of our standard working practice our support services, teams always follow our robust infection prevention and control practices. Alongside this we have also implemented enhanced hygiene measures and cleaning regimes to ensure that we keep everyone safe; staff have access to the PPE they need and staff in our residential settings are part of a regular Covid testing regime. Given the heightened concern relating to the virus, all of our colleagues are being briefed and given access to resources to keep themselves and our customers safe.

Our teams continue to be supported by our office-based teams who are following current guidance to work from home where possible. Our office spaces remain open to a limited number of colleagues who need to come in for essential reasons.

We continue to risk assess & risk manage our services daily and will provide updates if any circumstances change. If local services are impacted due to local restrictions or public health requirements, then your local service will inform you if it is directly impacted.
