Helping older people staying independent
Our Homecare Service for older people and people with dementia isn't just about looking after you in your own home; it's also about helping you to maintain links in your local community and access services, continue hobbies, or recreational pursuits.
Our carers can help you to attend medical appointments, accompany you on trips out, help you with grocery shopping, and we can also help you arrange transportation if you're travelling to see friends and family.
Here are some examples of packages for older people and people with dementia to give you an idea of what we can offer. We do suggest that you give us a call for a personalised quote, as every person is different.
- Little outings (2 hours): Indulge in a trip out to lunch in town, a visit to the beauty salon, or catch a matinee at the cinema.
- Shopping trip (2 hours): We can arrange for one of our carers to accompany you on a trip to do your food shop or a visit to the shopping centre. We'll even help you unpack and put your shopping away when you get home!
- Wellbeing appointment (2 hours): Our carer will provide the support you need to make your doctor/health appointments. We will also be on hand to offer practical and emotional support during your appointment.
- Rediscovery service (8 hours): We can help you to rediscover and reconnect with a place, hobby or interest you love.
